Missy Liu's Bed & Biscuit Pet Boarding offers overnight dog boarding on a 10-acre country property in Farmington, AR, and serves owners across Northwest Arkansas. It welcomed its first guest in November 2017 and has since grown from overnight stays into bathing and a full-service grooming salon. Small, medium, and large dogs are all accepted. The kennel is named for Missy Liu, a Mastiff rescue who belonged to the owners.

What guests get on the property

Dogs stay in large, clean kennels and spend time outdoors on the acreage. The country setting is the main draw here: along with other dogs, guests get to know the five horses that live on site. Rates are $35 per night plus sales tax.

How the staff is trained

Every staff member completes pet CPR, first aid, and boarding training modules through The Dog Gurus. The facility is certified in canine and feline CPR and first aid through Pet Emergency Education, and it is a member of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association. A trained staff member supervises the dogs during group time.

Before a first stay

Every dog has to do a Meet & Greet before boarding for the first time. It gives the staff a chance to get to know the dog, and the dog a chance to look around and meet the others. Reservations are handled online through the kennel's website, and the phone number is (479) 267-0202.
