Cozy Canine Lodge

Cozy Canine Lodge is a family-owned dog boarding facility in Fayetteville, AR, with crate-free overnight stays, grooming, and optional transportation. There are no crates on site. Each dog gets a private room with a dog door that opens onto its own outdoor run, so it can head outside or settle back indoors on its own schedule. The rooms are heat and air controlled.

What makes the setup different

The private-room-plus-private-run layout is the main thing separating this lodge from a traditional kennel building. Dogs are not grouped into a shared run or taken outside on a fixed rotation. The owners run the business as a family and have three dogs of their own: Roscoe, Rooster and Ty.

Costs and requirements

Boarding runs $40 per night for one dog, with a second dog adding $25 per night and a third adding $10. Grooming can be attached to a boarding stay or booked as its own appointment, and those prices vary. Vaccines are required before a stay: rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella.

Weekday windows are wide: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Friday. Weekend hours are much shorter, 8:30 AM to noon on Saturday and 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM on Sunday, so pickups and drop-offs need planning around them. New customers can schedule a tour first and go over the details of the stay in person.
