How the training works

Every program uses positive reinforcement. The trainers do not use shock or pinch collars, and they describe their approach as science based. Owner Shanthi Steddum has been training dogs since 1996 and holds KPA Certified Training Partner, CPDT-KA, and IAABC credentials. Other trainers hold CPDT-KA and Karen Pryor Academy Comprehensive or Foundations certifications. The curriculum follows the American Kennel Club Family Dog program: sit, down, come, stay, leave it, and leash skills. After School Coaching is included with day school tuition and runs Monday through Thursday at 5:30pm.

Practical details before booking

Booking is handled online. Vaccinations are required: rabies, DHLLP, and Bordetella every six months. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by one year of age, and females in heat are not allowed in play groups.
