Oh Hello Dog is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility in downtown Los Angeles, run out of a 7,500 sq ft air conditioned building on E. 8th Street. Every dog goes through a temperament evaluation before joining group play, and the play areas are split between small and large dogs. Supervision runs 24/7, overnight included.

What makes it different

The day has a shape to it. Play areas are deep cleaned once a day, and dogs get scheduled nap times instead of running flat out from open to close. Because the temperament evaluation applies to every dog, group play rosters aren't left to chance.

The building is climate controlled, which counts for something in a Los Angeles August. Small, medium, and large dogs are all accepted, and special diets can be accommodated for dogs who need them. Households with more than one dog get a 10% discount for each sibling.
