The business was founded by Roni Taylor, who has worked with animals her entire life — in veterinary clinics, as a district trainer for animal welfare at a large pet retail company, and running her own dog rescue. A trained veterinary technician, Roni focuses on comfort and mental wellbeing in small animal care, and together with family and friends has helped save over 14,000 dogs and cats across 13 years. Boarding here supports that rescue mission, so families can help save lives while vacationing.

Services & Amenities

• Large, cozy indoor temperature-controlled kennels with private suites, orthopedic cots on request, and nightly tuck-in service
• HUGE play yards, plus individual 30-minute play yard sessions with toys available on request
• Enrichment activities including stuffed Kongs, Kong wobblers, slow feeder bowls, puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and staff-led scavenger hunts
• Grooming with basic staff bath and dry, subject to availability
• Medication administration for dogs with prescribed medications in original labeled bottles

Most dogs are accepted, and the staff is happy to work with dogs that have medical or other special needs. First-time guests are encouraged to book a one- or two-day trial stay to make sure the fit works for both the dog and the team. Dogs requiring exact-timed or life-altering medications and injections are referred to a medical boarding facility instead.

Proof of current bordetella, rabies, and distemper vaccines is required for every dog. Visits and stays are by appointment only, and discounts are offered to military and law enforcement families.
