Como Pet Lodge is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Tucson, Arizona, built around an innovative Pack Therapy approach to canine care. Founded in 2021, the lodge blends group socialization with individualized behavior work to help dogs become calmer, more confident companions both at the facility and back home.

Pack Therapy Philosophy

Rather than isolating boarding dogs, Como mixes daycare, boarding, and socialization dogs into stable "pack pods" so they can learn from one another under close supervision. Every stay begins with a required Meet & Greet Evaluation, used to build an Individual Success Plan before a dog joins pack activities.

A Mission Beyond Boarding

Como Pet Lodge also operates Como Animal Works, a nonprofit Shelter Bypass Program that provides temporary, immersive care for dogs whose owners face crises such as homelessness or domestic violence, helping keep pets out of shelters while owners get back on their feet.

Every reservation requires full vaccination records for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella before a dog can join the pack. With flexible boarding tiers ranging from solo kennels to full pack immersion, Como Pet Lodge gives Tucson dog owners options suited to their pet's temperament and training needs.
