Bed & Biscuit Kennel

Bed & Biscuit Kennel is a boarding facility in Frankford, Delaware, welcoming both dogs and cats for overnight stays. The kennel keeps things straightforward and personal: guests are fed their own food from home whenever possible to minimize intestinal upset, and owners are welcome to bring a familiar bed or favorite toys, though bedding and toys are also available on site for every guest's use.

Boarding rates are published and easy to plan around, with discounted pricing for multiple dogs sharing a single kennel and a separate overflow boarding option for single dogs under 50 pounds who are already comfortable in a crate. That option includes two playtime sessions and two extra potty breaks each day. Cats are boarded one per pen and must be spayed or neutered.

Planning a Stay

Vaccinations are required before arrival: distemper, bordetella, and rabies for dogs, with leptospirosis and flu recommended; cats need FVRCP and rabies. The kennel operates on split daily hours, from 8am to noon and again from 3pm to 6pm, with Tuesdays handled by appointment. Holiday periods carry minimum stays — four nights around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and two nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day — and the facility is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday, with half days on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
